Here's a story on how I knew I had a passion in teaching. When I was a university student, I used to tutor other students who were struggling in Mathematics. One time, a student contacted me and told me that he's failing his math course and his only chance was his final exam. I started giving him lessons and prepared him for his final exam. When he did the exam and his grade was out, he sent me a message saying how shocked and happy he was because of his grade. He got a final grade of an "A". His success gave me a satisfying feeling and made me proud. This was when I knew that being an educator is beyond just teaching a lesson, it is believing in your students and giving them all the support they need to reach success.
