Hello everyone. I am Rahab Mambo, a teacher and counsellor by profession. I have 33 years of teaching experience, having taught many schools in Kenya.
I have headed the mathematics department for eight years, where I was involved in:
~ Planning the mathematics curriculum
~ Supervising professional documents
~Administering and monitoring the evaluation system in the department through Continuous Assessment Tests and Exams.

I have also been involved in innovating the ideal methodology of teaching students depending on learners' academic level and capability. My lessons have been ICT-integrated for easy conceptualization.
In teaching, especially mathematics, my work has been to work on a positive attitude and eradicate the fear of failing while creating assurance of success.
I have been the Head of the Guidance and Counseling Department since 2015. My role has been to prepare term counselling activities ranging from individual to group counselling. I have been collaborating with parents regarding their children's counselling in areas such as;
~Drugs, substance abuse and addiction
~Suicidal thoughts and attempts
~Grief and bereavement counselling
~Teenage life crisis
~Parent-child conflict
~Health and safety, among others.

As a head of the department, I have also assisted in school administration. I have also been the school's Christian Union patron, and my primary mission has been to nurture students spiritually.
As a church elder, I have done this work well, leading the church youths as their patron. I have also been involved in the diverse leadership of women, where I headed the women's guild department at the parish level.

    My job has been to teach Mathematics and Geography at High School level, College and University. I have also been the school Head of Guidance and Counselling teacher where I have been involved in individual and group counselling, academic counselling, social counselling. I have also been involved in community and church counselling sessions.

    The charges vary with where teaching will take place, when and how to get to the destination. Also the content to be handled, and means of travelling.
