Art is an inherently fun and creative pursuit. With the appropriate teaching methods, complex concepts and techniques can be mastered. My methodology stems from the belief that art is therapeutic and essential daily. Learning is the ultimate goal, not just passing exams or finishing assignments. The transfer of skills is equally important. Seeing an apprentice or student respond to tasks with newly learned knowledge on an art piece marks a successful experience for both the learner and teacher. Instrumental drawing, Colour theory, Art history and appreciation are some advanced topics a learner could struggle with. I would work out a teaching method to suit each learner and allow them to fully understand a concept by allowing the student to respond to a task and then assess their level of understanding in that particular subject. I can create an approach that helps learners understand each step of the process. My method fosters confidence in learners by making them aware of their capabilities. As a part of my training method, I encourage asking questions as it allows learners to experiment and try out new ideas without fear of judgment.
