Accounting is not something that should be memorized, what i beleive is that learning the accounting is best to get rid of memorizing the Journal entries in beginner level.I focus on fundamentals before going into complications. First i take basic accounting classes to start with any syllabus.once i am satisfied that the students are already known to basic concepts and golden rules then i move forward to start with syllabus.
Before moving to any topic i prefer correlating the chapter with our real life example so that students can understand the chapter properly.
In the beginning my way of teaching for students seems a bit difficult but after few days when they start understanding accounting basics they love it and their interest in accounting also increases.
Always focus on to finish the syllabus on time so students can get enough time to prepare for exam.
