I am a seasoned accounts & finance professional with a rich and diverse career spanning over 18 years across various renowned organizations. My journey began at Dae-Jin Intl Corp., a Korean-based general trading company, where I honed my skills in the intricacies of international trade and commerce. My role involved managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Building upon this foundation, I transitioned to Ziafco Engineers & Contractors, specializing in elevators and escalators as an agency for Sigma Elevator. Here, I further developed my financial acumen by overseeing credit and collections. My responsibilities included evaluating creditworthiness, managing receivables, and implementing efficient collection strategies, contributing significantly to the organization's financial stability.

Seeking new challenges, I joined American Express Travels | AEG Travels, where I served as a Credit and Collection Coordinator. In this role, I managed credit portfolios, streamlined collection processes, and played a crucial role in maintaining healthy cash flows for the company.

My journey then led me to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), where I took on responsibilities in both the disbursement and fuel control departments. These roles allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of financial operations within the aviation industry, where precision and accuracy are paramount.

Currently serving as an Internal Audit Officer at PIA for more than four years, I play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency. My responsibilities include conducting thorough audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing robust internal controls.

As part-time work, at My Little World School, I held a dual role as the Accounts Head and Visiting Faculty, showcasing my versatility in both finance and education. As the Accounts Head, I managed the school's financial operations, overseeing cash management, supervising the preparation of monthly salaries, and ensuring the reconciliation of fees. My responsibilities extended to the meticulous generation of monthly fee vouchers and the preparation of profit and loss accounts. Additionally, I played a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, handling the filing of annual income tax returns.

One of my key accomplishments during this tenure was the development and successful implementation of an automated processes using MS Excel. I designed and implemented an automated fee voucher generation, reconciliation, and printing program, streamlining financial workflows. Moreover, I created an automated attendance and salary calculation program on MS Excel, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in payroll management.

In addition to my financial responsibilities, I contributed to the professional development of school staff and students. I conducted training workshops, with a particular focus on MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. These workshops aimed at enhancing the digital literacy and proficiency of both staff and students, empowering them with essential skills for the modern workplace.

My educational background complements my professional journey, as I am an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Affiliate. This qualification, coupled with my extensive practical experience, positions me as a well-rounded accounts and finance professional. Furthermore, my commitment to education is reflected in my five years of tutoring experience. I have taught accounting, economics, business studies, financial management, performance measurement, and business analysis at various levels, from Higher Secondary to O/A Levels and B.Com.

My unique combination of hands-on experience, academic credentials, and teaching expertise equips me with a holistic understanding of finance and business. I am passionate about contributing to the success of organizations through strategic financial management, and I look forward to new challenges and opportunities that allow me to leverage my skills and expertise in the field.
