Responsible for providing counselling, support and guidance to students, families, and teachers. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing programs and services to address student needs, such as personal, social, and academic counselling, crisis response, and college and career planning.
Provide individual and group counselling to students, addressing a wide range of issues, such as academic and personal challenges, social and emotional development, and mental health concerns.
Develop and implement programs and services to address student needs, such as personal, social, and academic counselling, crisis response, and college and career planning.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to identify students in need of support and develop appropriate interventions.
Work with teachers and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
Provide training and support to teachers, parents and students on various topics such as mental health, drug and alcohol prevention, bullying, and conflict resolution.
Maintain confidential records of student counselling sessions and develop reports to track progress and impact.
