• Performed coolant flow analysis for the bearing housing coolant system. The intention of the analysis is to get the coolant flow visualization and understand the optimization scope in stagnant zones in the coolant cavity along with the pressure drops in the system.
• Thermal hot shutdown analysis in CFD: this is a transient CFD analysis performed to understand the impact of thermal inertia due to sudden engine shutdown on the turbine architecture. The output of the analysis is the highest temperatures and their distribution in different turbocharger components to understand the material requirements.
