I am working as linux admin post at Bangalore location. I can give you practical example as a production environment with shell scripting knowledge,

As per my knowledge I had faced so many interview. I think its not only learn to linux, you have to apply this subject for build up your future and for earning purpose.
My teaching style - I will give you practical example, How live environment is working.
Methods- from the beginner I will guide you. But you have to very sincere .
Result- At least post 6 month you will get an idea with linux environment. (Depending on the how many class will attended)
Great teacher- I am not a teacher I am also a learner who try to learn more (Because linux is like a sea might be I took myself 2 or 3 bucket from that sea)

I would say if you learn more then you can earn more.
