I consider it a challenge to teach the concepts of Philosophy (both Indian and Western) with relevance to the contemporary world and thoughts. I focus on this task in my teaching. New examples, pictorial representations and applicability of the concepts across different disciplines make this possible and I plan to take this approach to teach Indian philosophy as well as philosophy in general. I believe in focusing on the applicability of ancient theories to the contemporary scenario which seems to be the need of the hour. I would like to teach courses on logic (Indian and Western), epistemology (Indian and Western) and courses on Indian cognitive science.
