My name is Adrie van den Berg. I am 35 years old and in addition to being an online music teacher, I am also a teacher on the Social Work course.

I taught myself to play guitar and keyboard. I have no specific music training. Many hours were spent playing guitar, writing lyrics, recording and listening back. I also have some experience on stage.

Later I started giving rap workshops to young people and music lessons to children. You can see an impression of a project with a daytime activity for children with a (mild) intellectual disability at the bottom of the message.

Improvising has always been important to me in making music. That is also something that characterizes me as a teacher. I can help with writing music, playing well-known songs or quietly learning the basics.

In my lessons I adapt to your level and questions. I love music and being able to convey this. Do you like working with detailed assignments on paper? Then we do that. Would you prefer to receive audio recordings of exercises? That is also possible.

Maybe you already have an idea about certain songs you want to learn, or a certain style. I would be happy to help you with that.
