It's not enough if you just learn the answers. While learning them, you must also practice writing the spelling of difficult words. This is the case with any language. Since you are given marks for writing, you should be extra careful with your spellings. Also, write difficult spellings even five or even ten times if necessary. By the end of the tenth time, you would have learnt the spelling accurately. Now, try to write the word, without seeing the text book or note book. Though it may be time consuming, it will surely fetch you good rewards.
Another aspect you should be careful about is, your use of grammar. Tenses, pronouns, singular plural, gender are things in which you must concentrate more on..
Keep your handwriting neat. This will create a good impression in the mind of the evaluator. Avoid using erasers, in case of mistakes. Striking it out and re-writing will look neater. All the best for your exams.
