I believe in a student centred teaching technique where most of the work and research is done by the student. This helps the student to grasp concepts quicker and also be prepared for the years ahead. I use ICT tools to conduct lessons, charts, tables and other relevant tools available. I also extensively use Cambridge Marking guides, syllabus, Examiners reports and the interactive Scheme of Work to guide the students in completing their studies. From 2015 the lowest symbol I have obtained for History A Level and Biblical Studies (formerly Divinity) is a C. My thrust is to help students master examination techniques by finishing syllabus as quickly as possible and working on as many past question papers as possible. Mastering answering techniques helps students to do well in the examinations. Students must be able to know and understand how their work is marked or graded for them to fulfil the expectations of the marker. Therefore a lot of time is taken working on examiner expectations and how to effectively answer the questions and gain as much marks as possible.
