Dear student,

I teach Moroccan dialect and Modern Standard Arabic, classical Arabic, Media Arabic and Arabic literature to non-native speakers in an interactive manner, which contributes to creating an active learning environment, motivating students to actively participate, making the content more understandable. My classes are based on dialogue and discussions, which also enhances learning. My teaching philosophy is based on my experience learning the language, especially since I grew up in Morocco, a country known for its linguistic and cultural richness.

Over the seven years I have spent in this field, I have provided a student-centered learning environment. Learning in my classroom takes place as part of collaborative group work. I found that this strategy has a major role in developing relationships between students on the one hand, and between students and teachers on the other hand. By creating honest communication in my classes, I have also been able to create a positive and fun environment for my students that makes them willing to actively participate in activities.

The lessons and activities I create allow students to interact with classmates or individually and practice the four skills of reading, speaking, writing and listening, so I often make sure they have easy access to dialogue and eye contact. I also try to gauge their attention through a variety of activities. Technology has a major role in the educational learning process, so it is necessary to participate in training courses that aim to use technology in this field and encourage students to use it in a way that enhances their learning.

Finally, one of the most important aspects of my philosophy is to share the cultural aspect of language with my students, because language and culture are two sides of the same coin.

My best greetings,

Yacine
