After my studies in Australia, I went on to work for two national companies in Western Australia before moving to Italy when I was 30 years of age after receiving Italian residency. Not long after settling into my new environment, I started working as an English teacher. During the years of my teaching career, I did many courses with exams to finally reach my current level. My latest achievement is a Diploma in Teaching English Online c/o the London Teacher Training College.
I have an eclectic approach when teaching where I enjoy combining various methods depending on the aims of the lessons which are adapted to suit the requirements of each learner.

Experience

  • Abruzzo (Feb, 2010–Feb, 2020) at International House Italy
    I worked for many different public and private schools in the Abruzzo region of Italy preparing students for Cambridge exams from levels A2 – C2 as well as Legal English and Business English. I also did a period of teaching with the English is Fun method for pre-primary students.
    Since 2020, I have been a full-time online teacher. I am now hoping to expand my horizons and be able to teach English to students in other countries apart from Italy.

Fee details

    €15–20/hour (US$16.30–21.74/hour)

    A minimum fee of €15,00 is for general culture students who do not wish to sit an exam. The maximum fee of €20,00 is for those courses which require more materials to be sent online for exam preparation.
