I have good rapport skills with students. Most of the students I have taught before have shown exceptional performances.
A good relationship between a teacher and a student creates communication skills hence enhancing the students' willingness to study.
I always listen to my students complaints on areas they don't understand and we go through it together until they finally get it. As for the parents (if they are involved) I keep updating them on the students improvements and or challenges since it helps motivating the student. If a parent is supportive of the student the chances of great performance are high. Patience is the key to understanding a student and teaching them well.
