I teach mathematics not only for money but I enjoy it. Teaching mathematics is my Passion and I am expert of turning a weak student into a brilliant student equipped within basic mathematical skills. First I diagnose the mathematical illness (Weak areas of basic mathematics) and then give him/her mathematical treatment, that is, I successfully teach the basic mathematical concepts. I am PhD in mathematics and have 11 years of Post PhD experience at University plus 3 years (approximately) of experience before PhD.
I run a YouTube channel for mathematical lectures to assist students. In recognition of my dedication, I was awarded the title of Best Teacher for the session (2019-2020) at his current institution.
I also possesses proven expertise in conducting research across multidisciplinary areas of applied mathematics, tackling problems such as fluid flow and mathematical models for the spread of diseases, nonlinear control systems, and has published research articles in reputable journals. In total, I have published 15 research articles. Seeking opportunities to contribute knowledge and mentor students. https://www.youtube.com/@DrRAK
Experience
-
Assistant Professor (Nov, 2012
–Present) at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan
Teaching and research at Undergraduate and Postgraduate Level at University.
My current primary role involves teaching engineering mathematics at both the undergraduate and
postgraduate levels. In terms of my ongoing research, I am primarily focused on applying Lie point
symmetry approaches to analyze various fluid flow problems, including magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD)
flows, unsteady laminar boundary layer flows, and double-diffusion problems. I employ the homotopy
analysis method as a mathematical tool to derive exact solutions and gain profound insights into these
complex fluid dynamics issues. Additionally, I am also partially involved in research areas such as
Mathematical Biology (Mathematical Models of Infectious Diseases), Nonlinear Control Systems.
Teaching courses: Advanced/applied Engineering Mathematics to masters and PhD students. And the
courses taught at undergraduate level are Calculus and Analytical Geometry, vector calculus and PDEs,
Linear Algebra and ODEs, Complex Variables and Transforms, Numerical Methods and probability
and statistics. Also responsible for designing of courses and supervision of the students.
