Since I was a child, i had a dream to be a teacher . I used to teach Quraan to my dolls. When I grow up I decided to work in quraan centers in my city where I memorized Quraan with my friends when I was young . And then, I became a teacher where I was a student.
I developed My diploma to Quraan teaching strategies. I made my own powerpoint slides depending on al sa'adi tafseer which I simplified for kids. I use the pomodorrow technique im my lessons which divide the lesson into study sessions and each session consisting of 30 minutes = 25 minutes memorizing Quraan and tafseer + 5 minutes of not systematic activity.
Each student have a tracking table to achieve a monthly goal in memorizing quraan,one study session weakly to revise all the memorized surahs and frequently tests.
last year I had a new student who couldn't pronouns letters correctly and she had a lots of problems in memorizing the surahs. She spent tow weeks to memorize suratul adiat which is a long time. Now, alhamdullah, and after my serious tracking and tests, she can narrated the last hizib in juz' amma by heart without any mistakes in the pronunciation of letters or words. I think this is one of the greatest achievements I did. May allah accept it from us.
My vision is that Quraan Memorization is a whole life project, Its not a temporary task to do.
