I am an experienced biomedical researcher with more than eight years of research experience in the field of translational medicine, especially in Stem cells, regenerative medicine, and tissue engineering. Currently, I am working as a Research Scholar at University of Kerala. I am a biotechnology researcher who loves to dive deep into nature's gift of wide bio-compounds. I am interested in continuing my research on searching for the potentiality of our biological sources and bringing out the maximum alternatives for various harmful chemical sources. Ph.D. work was in the field of regenerative medicine, especially in the area of fabrications of functionalized biomaterials for tendon defects and their testing - in vitro and in vivo models. Major skills include - in vitro 3D cell culture, stem cell culture, molecular gene expression studies, and implantation studies on animal models. In addition to my focus area on stem cell-incorporated decellularized tissue scaffolds for orthopedic reconstructive surgeries, I have also familiarized myself with skin and bone tissue engineering as my lab is concentrated on phytochemicals incorporated functionalized scaffold fabrications to repair bone, skin, and tendon defects. I Aim for a Research and Teaching career in a progressive organization that will utilize my expertise in the Biotechnology field and which would give me enough opportunities to realize my potential and serve the organization to its expectations.
