My teaching philosophy as a teacher is based on motivating my students to develop there own learning interests and critical thinking. I choose content and activities within the frame work of course structure, that could stimulate the student thinking beyond their comfort-zone and make them feel involved in the learning process. I also encourage students to be communicative and develop collaborative work skill as well. I believe in having interactive teaching style that involves student participation, class discussion and making the students present their own ideas and thoughts at the end of the courses that is being taught to them.
I believe in a philosophy that an effective teacher does not drill facts, but instead ignites a student’s desire to learn, thus I recognize the importance of creating a learning environment where students feel safe to contribute, comfortable to criticize and self-confident enough to ask questions.
Finally, as a teacher, I am not afraid to learn from students. I grow and learn in each class I teach, together with my students.
