I'm Muhammad Taimoor Abbasi, PhD in Islamic Finance and Banking (UMT), MS Finance and Investment, Islamic Finance and Banking (LMet, UK), MBA with Majors in Finance, Bachelors of Commerce (Accounting), Diploma in Commerce (Accounting), and Matriculation in Science. I've over 16 years of teaching experience in the Department of Management Sciences at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. In-addition to my academic activities, I am professionally qualified as Master Trainer under 20th Master-Trainer Faculty Professional Development Program for University teachers to enrich their academic teaching on professional levels.
The teaching methodology I follow is purely based upon the nature, content, and the existing knowledge of the students in the module. The entire module contents are divided into different sections of study to be studied within a given period of time with assessments relevant to the module to check whether the learner has achieved course objectives or not. The teaching style is mostly participative to ensure student involvement in the contents with more focus on concept development. The assessments of the module includes surprise quiz, short and long assignments, and the paper based examination with minimum standards of qualifying the module courses. The course methodology may vary from course to course considering many other factors.
