I am a native British speaker and I have taught English to people of diverse nationalities and age groups over the last 7 years. I have taught across different educational stages and am also qualified in the Further Education sector. In addition to this, I hold a degree in Translation and therefore have a sound knowledge of modern foreign languages. My other specialist areas are French and Spanish which I can teach up to A-level.

As a tutor, I take pride in being patient, friendly, and considerate. I understand that each learner has a unique pace and style of learning, and I adapt my teaching methods to accommodate these differences. Creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere is crucial for language acquisition, and I am dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and building their language skills with confidence.

In my language teaching approach, I blend the communicative and task-based language teaching methods to create an engaging and interactive online learning experience. These approaches emphasize real-life communication skills and practical language use, fostering an environment where students actively participate and apply what they learn in meaningful contexts.

Fee details

    £15–30/hour (US$19.23–38.46/hour)

    Fee depends on the needs of the students, so exam preparation is generally higher if lessons are booked last minute and very close to the exam. Also if lessons are requested in person, I will include travel costs in the price.
