Engagement and encouragement are two steps in teaching. If I explain well, my lectures would be engaging and my giving assignments to access their knowledge would be engaging them to learn. Discussion regarding the assignment pre and post will help them to tackle it well.

After engaging and encouragement would be to challenge them, gradually increasing the difficulty level. This will help them to grow.

My teaching is rather simple and approachable so that they can question at every step and constantly improve.
Learning is a constant process.
