Hi. I have been teaching since couple of years after working in IT industry. I try to engage students and make the subject as much easy and interesting as possible by giving various examples. Focus on conceptual understanding and problems solving. Creating tests and playing math games and quiz. Emphasize hands on learning and setup math routine. Building excitement by rewarding progress. Encourage questioning method and discovering methods or combinations of these. Solving problems verbally, graphically and/or by examples. Experimental learning which encourages creativity and helps students learn from mistakes.
