I am a passionate and highly motivated Social and Emotional Learning Teacher. In my SEL class my learners know that they are in the atmosphere of acceptance, understanding and relaxation. The students I have taught SEL in secondary school do not struggle with academic performance and they improve their poor behavior with time because they have been equip with skills that will help them to be emotionally, socially and mentally stable. My students look forward to SEL classes because it is always interesting, interactive and enlightening.
As an Economics teacher real world experiences that learners can relate to, is what I bring to my classroom. I am an advocate for learners centered method of teaching, my class is very interactive and my students are allowed to share their ideas and participate fully. My ability to empathize and be patient with my learners make me a great teacher. I have recorded excellent result over a decade in preparing and presenting students for O'level Economics Examination.
