Hello, My name is Kathrin, I am an experienced coach and a professional chess player.
I offer chess coaching for all levels, from beginners to advanced players, including kids. With extensive experience working with children, I specialize in making chess learning enjoyable and accessible for young minds.

I can teach a wide range of topics, both for adults and children, including:

I conduct lessons both in-person and online, using English, Hebrew, and Russian languages. Having competed in tournaments in Russia and Israel and earning medals in several junior competitions, I bring a wealth of practical experience to my coaching.
I aim to create a friendly and welcoming learning environment, with a bit of humor. I believe learning chess should be fun and that a strong bond between teacher and student is essential.

I'm here to be your supportive coach and provide you with the tools you need to keep improving on your own and to show you how enjoyable and beautiful chess can be.

Fee details

    €30–65/hour (US$31.58–68.42/hour)

    The fee structure is determined by several factors, including the time, duration of the lesson, content, and location.

    - For beginner students aged 5 to 8 years old, the class duration is set at 45 minutes, and the fee is adjusted to 30 euros.
    - Adult beginners and post-beginners are charged a rate of 35 euros.
    - Intermediate players with a rating between 1000 and 1400 are subject to a fee of 38 euros.

    If traveling to a student's location the fee range would be between 50 and 65 euros depending on the distance.
