I always try to connect book problems to real life through more realistic examples.
I try to solve my students' problems by giving complete explanations of the topics and allowing them to ask questions until they understand the topic properly.
I pay more attention to understanding rather than rote learning.
First I try to explain the chapter properly, then give some important tips and then start solving numericals.
And try to solve as many questions as possible from the book and also provide some numerical from my self to provide a nice and different experience to the students.
