Hey fellow earthlings! This is Hanan, a Cambridge CELTA-certified English Language and Literature teacher. With over two years of experience in teaching the English language, my expertise in building solid lessons and class materials stems from my teaching experience and interactions with my students. I have worked with students of all levels and ages, from an EYFS child of age 4 to an IELTS candidate of age 45, and I absolutely love it. I like to cook and eat whatever I make. And I also love to read, watch movies with my family, and have a good laugh every now and then with my friends.

I have had a teaching career spanning two years. My first formal teaching experience was while I was pursuing my bachelor's in education. It was an online language school where I taught phonics, pronunciation, grammar, and enhancing the listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills of my students. My degree in education equipped me with the knowledge of how to plan detailed lesson plans and how to effectively deliver them in the classroom. My accomplishment as a CELTA-certified teacher goes way beyond the certificate. The course allowed me to learn different strategies I could use to improve the productive and receptive skills of my students. My preparation for each class revolves around creating a solid lesson plan, language analysis, and vocabulary analysis. I have used various techniques like concept-checking questions, language review, grading of language, and many more in my lessons. The knowledge that I obtained in my CELTA course is effectively put to use while I'm teaching English as an English tutor at a centre in the UAE. I worked with students of IB, American, and British curricula, assisting them in their understanding of the key concepts and lessons. I've also worked with elementary, intermediate, and advanced learners as they prep for competitive exams like the IELTS, OET, PTE, SAT, LNAT, etc.
