I am qualified up to level 2 in childcare with over 18 months of experience, I have worked for one of the UKs largest private nursery chains and as such I am familiar with nursery/school settings. In addition to the above, I have experience in tutoring children in Islamic studies for a number of years. I taught children from the ages of 4-11 in a private madrasah setting, covering Tilawah and Tajweed, basic Fiqh, Aqeedah and Adaab, basic Arabic grammar, Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ and Stories of the Prophets – peace be upon them.

Having acquired the skills and knowledge to do this as a result of studying a part time Aalimiyyah course, for five years at a highly respectable institute; under highly esteemed teachers. In the course of my studies, we covered an array of subjects including Quranic Arabic, Tajweed, Nahw, Sarf, Usool ul Fiqh and Usool ul Hadith and Qasasun-Nabiyyeen.

I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to utilise this beneficial knowledge and to educate some of the youngsters of our Ummah. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and have a very enthusiastic approach to their development and learning. I’m a patient individual with a calm and nurturing demeanour which I consider to be vital skills required to look after children and help them grow.

I have been fortunate to have worked with children of various ages and can adapt by approach to suit the relevant age and learning abilities. My approach is based on ensuring that whilst learning is fun and interactive, I create a safe environment for children to want to learn, feel comfortable to ask questions and contemplate on what is being taught.
