This is Khaled Hussien, Quran, and Tajweed tutor. Al Azhar Univ. Faculty of Languages and Translation. As an Egyptian, I am a native Arabic speaker (language of the Quran). I work with my students using the easiest and the most suitable approach of teaching to make my students able to recite and memorize the Holy Quran and understand Tajweed rules very well.
I always start with Arabic because this is the main pillar for being able to read and memorize the Holy Quran. I use Nour Al Bayan or Al Qaiedah Al Nouraniyah along with other Arabic books such as Al Arabiyah Bayn Yadiek to help my students complete their mission. As well as I always give assignments to make my students fully understand the lecture lessons.
In each lecture, I allocate a specific limited time for making revisions of what is learned in the previous lecture because this is important to make the student link between the previous and the current lecture lessons.
In general, I divide my lecture time as per the materials I need to teach (Arabic, Quran, Tajweed) and always finish with Tajweed to correct what is mistaken while reading.
