My name is Dana, I am from Germany and it would be my pleasure to teach you German, share my experiences with you and give you an insight into German culture, with all its quirks, oddities and wonderful qualities.

Last year I moved to India and found myself in the situation of learning a new language from the scratch. You as a beginner and me, we definitely have something in common.

I know how difficult it can be to find your way in a completely new environment, culture and of course language. Sometimes you might be too shy, avoid conversations for fear of making mistakes, or people just talk too fast. All these circumstances can make you feel isolated from time to time. But believe me, this situation is also very motivating.
There is no particular teaching method that I prefer, because ultimately it depends on you.
On your goals, your character, your interests, your learning speed and, above all, on whether and where you want to live in Germany. Let's also find out what suits you best.

You know that I believe everything is connected. So you can be sure that I will include all the material I can find, from using news articles, song lyrics, books, social media to creating comics or describing paintings. There are no limits.
Or are there?

For example, there is a beautiful quote by Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein who said, "The limits of my language are the limits of my world." Do you see it that way too?
Then let's break through these boundaries and explore a new world together.
