I love teaching using modelling and demonstration methods. Helping students to apply critical thinking skills to classroom activities, and collaboration. The use of teaching aids like flashcards, Google Sheets pallets or jamb board to store information. Over the years, the children I have tutored have improved academically, morally and emotionally. As an experienced and trained teacher, no child is dull or incapable of doing well academically. All they need is patience and a teaching style that suits them. Teaching is made easy when it is fun and interesting allowing the ward to express themselves differently. It is important to incorporate other subject areas in ensuring effective feedback is gotten. Providing a conducive and simplified curriculum or scheme of work. Assisting the child in getting homework done and providing counselling when needed. These are aspects that make me stand out as an exceptional teacher whose passion is to inculcate literacy and effective learning skills to my students.
