Hello,
I'm Lisa, 32 years old. I'm a french native speaker and lived in France until 2020.
I worked in international schools, in both Egypt and India where i've been in charge of teaching french ( and teaching other subjects in french ) to students from 5 years old to 11 years old. I worked with the french national curriculum as well as the IB PYP curriculum. I also helped my 5 grade students to prepare for the A2 junior examen. Prior to that, I worked in french middle school as an education assistant and used to tutor kids with needs or foreign students.
Because of the covid situation, I had to switch to online teaching a few times. I taught whole classes and did small group/individual tutoring on Zoom and Google meet.
I'm confident in adapting to all kind of students, kids but also adults. Working with kids taught me how to adapt and find various ways to get understood. I believe this skill would be a great help, even when teaching adults.
