Hi, my dear friends and students! l am Sudhanshu and have been in the teaching profession since the last twelve years. I began my journey in this most arduous and noble of professions as a rookie teacher teaching History and Political Science to ISC and ICSE kids at India's most famous Independent Boarding school for Boys namely The Doon School -- alma mater to personalities as diverse as Vikram Seth,Rajiv Gandhi,and bureaucrats and industrialists of all hues and political affiliations. It was whilst working in the Doon School that I realised that the academic training of youth is just the means to an end and the final destination is a life-long association and journey towards the unknown boundary of infinite knowledge that has neither a beginning nor an end-- a rather ceaseless concourse towards an intangible sublime set of values that we try to steer our wards and ourselves yearning, trying,assimilating, faltering,yet, trying again to reach a summit both for ourselves and for those whom we teach.Over this time-period, I have come to realise that we learn and grow proportional to the growth of our pupils and it's the challenges that they pose before us that makes us better in expounding our core areas of competency and that we clear our own doubts and hesitancy as we clear the doubts of our students and this two-way learning process between the teacher and his pupils is what makes learning a peerless beautiful profession with endless possibilities and glorious uncertainties, and I take this platform as an opportunity to affirm and communicate with my potential students that this Journey towards Light is one from imperfections to perfection ---which again is not an enumeration, a countable noun---but a never ending strive that forever carries on as long as we inhabit this wonderful Earth as its most intelligent, prescient yet most vulnerable creatures.
