Hello! My name is Elisha and I am a native English speaker from the United States. I have been teaching for over 20years and ESL online for 7 years. I have taught students as young as 3yrs old all the way up to professional adults who are well along in their careers. I have taught English reading, English conversation, English Science and American Accent. I have also been a volunteer Spanish teacher for 8 years.

I am a very fun and engaging teacher- we always have fun in my classroom! My teaching style is enthusiastic and positive. I’m interested in a variety of topics, and I’m happy to focus on helping you reach your personal English goals. I always try and create bonds with my students. I want you to feel comfortable with me as your teacher. So I will always build your confidence and create a safe atmosphere for you to grow in your learning journey.

Some other areas I specialize in are: Business English, job interview practice, English conversation, English grammar as well as English for traveling.

    I am an American accent coach helping foreign English speakers reduce their native accents so that their English is clear and easily understood.

    I have 7 years of experience working with MiraTutor as an online ESL teacher. My students are based in China. My students ages range from 4yrs to adult. I have experience teaching students to read English, proper pronunciation, public speaking, speech fluency, reading and listening comprehension, active engagement in conversation and business terminology.

Fee details

    US$22–45/hour (US$22–45/hour)

    My charges range from $22 to $45 based on the subject being taught along with grade level. For basic English conversation my charge is $22 USD (without the 15% to TeacherOn) an hour. For more extensive topics like Science and biology, or adult business public speaking classes, my maximum fee is $45 an hour.
