Hi there

I’m Teacher Macky and I’m the Head Teacher of Gymboree Play and Music Sofitel. I’ve been working as a Preschool Teacher and Private Tutor (both kids and adult) for 5 years now and I would love to teach you as well.

My students are mostly expats/foreigns (Korean, Chinese, French, Italian and American) living in Makati (Ecology Village, Dasma Village and San Lorenzo)

With my one-on-one and/or group class for the preschool age, I use Progressive Approach with Play-based learning. In Progress Approach, educators/teachers do not simply teach students information and expect them to memorize it at once. Instead, they engage students in active hands-on activities, learning through experiments and collaboration with classmates/peers. This approach will help students be more likely to develop love of education and become lifelong learners.

Play-based learning on the other hand, builds motivation to young learners, using it as a
context for learning. Students can freely explore, experiment, discover, and solve problems in imaginative and playful ways. It also makes them understand more about certain topics and themes and makes them more involved in the learning process.
Both approach and framework (learning type) are deemed to be more effective for the
young learners than the traditional way of learning.

For my elementary/grade school students, the classes are structured based on their skill set. An assessment will be made before the official start of the session.

    ₱850–1,500/hour (US$14.58–25.74/hour)
