My name is Nsikak. I am an English tutor. I teach standardised exams like IELTS, TOEFL, SELT, PTE, GMAT, CELPIP, CAEL, GRE, LSAT, SSAT, SAT verbal, DUOLINGO English Test, Literature, Literary Theory and African Literature. I have always been fascinated by the process of learning — especially learning through fun and relaxing means. What you stand to gain with me as the tutor is a lesson with more learning methods that are relaxing.

I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have a master's degree in English. My methods of teaching have been very effective. I apply dramatic readings, storytelling, voicing, videos, verbal illustrations and audio in my lessons. For instance, I try to use pictures, diagrams, maps, timelines or other visual aids to highlight important points, not minor details.

These methods have allowed my students to have a solid foundation to remember not just the visual aids but the points of instructions — helping them to rise above their residual English ability.

    The job involves teaching all the English and verbal sections of standardized exams. Exams like GRE, SSAT, SAT, GMAT, LSAT, ISEE and AC. It also involves teaching English standardized exams like IELTS, CELT, TOEFL, CAEL, CELPIP, DUOLINGO English test, and PTE.
    I also prepare lessons for the company. Write correspondences to meet up with the needs of the clients. Additionally, the job could be done via a classroom setting, online, or in the clients residence.

    The job involved teaching the English language and teaching English Literature —especially IGCSE. I worked as an admin head where I had to coordinate the departments, assigning different tasks to the teachers working as my subordinates.
  • English Teacher (Jan, 2015–Dec, 2015) at Baptist high school, osogbo, osun state
    The job involved teaching the English language and Literature to 300 students. 5 hours of teaching every working day for a year. Additionally, it involved reporting back the progress of the student to the school and what significant changes if any will bring about their progress.

Fee details

    ₦10,000–50,000/hour (US$6.45–32.26/hour)

    The online fee is 8000 per hour times the number of classes. Physical is 10,000 per hour in the same local government area times the number of classes. Physical is 20,000 per hour if I have to move to a different local government area with the same state times the number of hours. Physical is 50,000 per hour if I have to move to a different state within Nigerian times the number of hours
