- SAS functions: SUBSTR, SCAN, FIND, CATX, STRIP, TRIM, COUNT, INDEX, PUT, INPUT, ROUND, KEEP, DROP etc.
- Statistical SAS procedures: PROC UNIVARIATE, PROC MEANS, PROC FREQ, PROC REG, PROC NPAR1WAY, PROC GLM, PROC MIXED, PROC REPORT, PROC LIFETEST, PROC PHREG etc.
- Data handing procedure: PROC SORT, PROC IMPORT, PROC EXPORT, PROC COMPARE
- Knowledge of SAS/sql
- Knowledge of SAS/Macro
