Energetic and patient tutor available for Math/Science tutoring K-12, and Chemistry, Microbiology and Biology tutoring at the college level. I excel in teaching Biochemistry/Metabolism, Genetics, Immunology, Bacteriology, and Inorganic Chemistry. I make touch topics such as electron configuration and atomic/molecular orbitals and break them down in clear, descriptive language to the student. Topics such as stoichiometry and how balancing chemical equations relates to mathematical calculations become easily digestible as I walk students through the concepts and explain the why/how? My teaching style is descriptive and uses stepwise methods of instruction. My ability to assess how students are processing information and adjust how I am breaking down the content to tailor the learning experience to the pupil is one of my greatest assets. I am able to be patient with students having difficulty grasping concepts or in need of specialized instruction methods. My students have a high rate of return for new/different subjects once a course is completed and a 90% rate of improvement in performance.
