I'm a passionate Bharatanatyam choreographer and instructor specializing in the Kalakshetra style. With over 10 years of training and experience, I am dedicated to the art of Bharatanatyam and love creating new compositions that push the boundaries of this ancient classical Indian dance form. Holding postgraduate and graduate diplomas in Bharatanatyam from the prestigious Kalakshetra Foundation, I have honed my skills and deepened my understanding of this captivating dance form while staying true to its rich traditions.

Online/ Offline Teaching Methodology:
I offer personalized online and offline Bharatanatyam classes that allow students to learn from the comfort of their homes. Utilizing video conferencing platforms, I conduct interactive sessions that include live demonstrations, individualized feedback, and guided practice exercises. I provide pre-recorded instructional videos, practice resources, and supplementary materials to enhance the learning experience. (Offline classed will start only after July 2023)

Class Structure:
Each class is thoughtfully planned to provide a balance between technique, artistry, and cultural understanding. The sessions include warm-up exercises, adavu (basic steps) practice, adavu variations, jathis (rhythmic patterns), abhinaya (expressions), and choreography. Students will also have the opportunity to learn traditional compositions and explore their own creative expressions.

In my classes, I not only teach dance techniques but also aim to impart the cultural and historical context of the dance form, helping students deepen their understanding and appreciation of this rich art form. Through a comprehensive curriculum, I guide students in mastering intricate footwork, graceful hand gestures, rhythmic patterns, facial expressions, and storytelling elements that make Bharatanatyam so unique.
