I have been a student teacher for 4 years now. I believe in the importance of understanding rather than mere memorization of facts. I make sure that my students or tutees are able to comprehend what I teach them by making them realize how important it is to understand what they are studying.

By making my students appreciate what they study, they become more engaged in the learning process, and as a result, they become much more inquisitive about the things around them. I believe in the power of asking questions and the more I convince my students to do so, the more likely it is that that they become powerful thinkers. This has been my work ethic as a student teacher in the past 4 years, and I have seen satisfactory results from them by seeing multiple improvements in different aspects of their academic life. Parents of children that I have taught can testify for the effectiveness of my teaching style.
