Good to meet you, thank you for stopping by. My name is Jeanine and if you are seeking a friendly, patient, experienced teacher, please book a trial and start your journey to success.

I teach children, teenagers and adults from beginner level. I can also offer TOEFL and IELTS speaking section practice

* My education:
- I have a post-graduate BA (Honours) degree in Psychology and a BA degree in Psychology and
Anthropology.

* My experience:
- 13 years of English teaching experience, 8 of them teaching children ESL online and 5 teaching
EFL in Taiwan to children and adults. I taught adults basic skills in London too.

* My classes:
- 30-minute classes

* Learning materials:
- I teach both the UK and British curriculums and have experience teaching both.
- We will discuss what you would like to focus on and which textbook/ learning materials
you would like to use.
I use textbook apps and ppts which include interactive activities.
- I include educational games in class that relate to the lesson in order to keep my students
interested and focussed.

I have found that children absorb more information if they are enjoying themselves so I like to keep things light-hearted and happy in class, so I include fun activities and educational games in my classes.

I am serious about my student's progress and ensure that they learn what is taught.

Experience

ESL / EFL teacher (Jan, 2022–Present) at Independent Online English Tutor

I have been teaching English to children from the United Arab Emirates and China.
My youngest student is 6 and my oldest student is 16.
I teach using textbooks from Oxford University Press, which are Oxford Discover and Everybody Up, Oxford Phonics World, Oxford Reading Tree Stories, McGrawHill Wonderskills Reading, National Geographic, which are Reading Explorer and Perspectives, as well as, Pearson Go Getter.
I have an IELTS speaking class too, we use materials that the student has provided.
I also have an adult student who I teach Face2Face from Cambridge University.

If a student requires a specific textbook - I will try to find it and use it.
I teach pronunciation, phonics,reading comprehension, listening, grammar,exam skills, IELTS speaking skills and in some of the textbooks there are science and geography as well as 21st Century skills that are included.
