Hello,
I'm Maliha Kaiser. I am an English and Psychology teacher from Pakistan. I have a passion for teaching and education because I like to work with different people and instill a love for education in people.
Currently, I am stationed in Bali, working on a language program to teach local Indonesians English free of cost. I have a Bachelors’ degree in Psychology and have eight years of experience teaching English, Psychology and other subjects. I have worked with a diverse range of people from all ethnic backgrounds and age groups. I have also worked with children with special needs and children from less privileged backgrounds.
All my students have seen improvement in their grades and English language skills. I employ different teaching methods based on the students' strengths and interests to ensure improvement and make sure that the student enjoys their lessons.
My personal interests include travelling, hiking, makeup artistry and reading.

  • Head of Education Department/ English as a Foreign Language Teacher (Dec, 2022–Dec, 2023) at Made's Banana Flour Co. Canggu, Bali, Indonesia
    Setting up teaching programs for the local Indonesian employees of Made’s Banana Flour Bakery. Employees ranged from 22 to 60 years old.

    Worked as a facilitator/teacher for nursery class in an integrative school. Worked with students with ADHD and down syndrome. Worked on class planners, activities and IEPs for students. Regular meetings with special - education team and parents.

    Worked at the psychiatric ward for women. Conducted various psychological tests, interviews, worked on patients’ files and carried out supervised group and individual therapy sessions. Conducted makeup classes at the ward which improved socialisation, language and motor skill

    Visited wonder tree deployments and assisted in training children and teachers in augmented reality game sessions for the target population. Researched and helped to develop new game ideas for children with disabilities and put together a training manual for the wonder tree games.

    Taught students from 2nd to 11th grade, in which the subjects included English Language, Literature, Mathematics, Science, History and Social Studies.     Teacher at the NGO for underprivileged children. Volunteered for two summers. Taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade English, Art and Social Studies. Helped students with homework, made the school curriculum and lesson plans, regular parent teacher meetings and helped to organize school events.

Fee details

    €19–28/hour (US$19.76–29.64/hour)

    Fee can be negotiated and packages will be given depending on the number of classes required.
