I am a qualified teacher specialising is Mathematics, Mathematical literacy, Physical Science and Natural Science. With over 16 years of experience in senior and FET CAPS, and ever increasing success rates, I pride myself in the work that I do and greatly enjoy seeing my students succeed and reach their full potential.I have a learner centred approach and my main skill is to motivate and encourage students daily.I believe that success is within anybodys reach if they are willing to put in the work.Sessions are relaxed and students have freedom to engage and ask questions which increases tbeir confidence which is key in obtaining good results. I encourage students to work at their own pace and constantly monitor progress, but most importantly focus is on bridging the gap between primary school and high school education. The focus is on ensuring that the basics of the subject matter is in place and covered. I believe that setting a good foundation is key to any optimal performance. Lastly eradicating the anxiety around subject matter is just as important as covering the curriculum.
