Hi Im Chris,

I am a science school teacher with 4 Years of school experience teaching in schools London and Mexico City. I have taught GCSE, iGCSE, IB and A level Chemistry and Biology. I also taught iGCSE physics. I have been online occasionaly for the last 10 years.

I completed a 4 year Biochemistry bachelors degree at the University of Leeds, I have also been lucky enough to study Biochemistry abroad in Australia. After this I did a postgraduate degree in science teaching at University College London. I am passionate about how the world works. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at University enthusing this love for scientific practice and explaing the wonders of life on a molecular scale.

Teaching is no doubt in my blood, both my parents are teachers and most of grandparents are teachers. I was also massively inspired by my sixth form chemistry teacher who I am still in contact with today and whom got me to University. I have chosen teaching as my future career path and have coniderable seconday school experience at present. My strength is stripping down complex scientific concepts and explaining them in a more palitable way to give students a strong foundation in scientific understanding.

I am also here for a chat, I am just 28 years old and have gone through all the exams and problems you are going through. The transition from school to Uni is scary and difficult but is also rewarding and lots of fun and I am happy to share any advice I can to help you out.
