The approach towards teaching varies from a teacher to another, I have 4 years' experience in teaching English online and offline, I teach English for beginners with a company called Upedia for online tutoring.
I have two years of experience in teaching online, I love working online because of the flexible hours.
My approach towards teaching is different, I tend to use games and activities in the classroom more than just talking and thats it, I use tongue twisters activity to break the boredom in the lesson and take a break from explaining the grammar and many new vocabulary words!
assignments and homework is very important and i prefer to give assignments that are easy and creative such as watching a movie or listen to a song and write down your feelings while watching the movie or listening to the song!
In that way students will be encouraged to attend the classes and love the session and participate more as well as be more interactive and attentive
