Ritayanti Chowdhury a Doordarshan Graded artist and NET qualifier in performing arts, was a student of M.A. Bharatanatyam of (Madras University) is learning this art form for near about 2 decades. She started her journey with her Mother Aparajita Chowdhury and Lata Paduval. For extra guidance she started learning under Guru. Premchand Homble (Banaras). Later on Ritayanti had a great opportunity to be a disciple of Shri. Sheejith Krishna (Chennai)& Anjana Anand (Chennai). After returning back from Chennai she started collaborating with eminent artists: Smt. Sudipa Ghosh (Patna) a Sangeet Natak academy Awardee; Shri. Ramkrishna Chatterjee (Barddhaman) She is presently member of Bharat Kala Manjari (Barddhaman); Abhikalpana Kalavriksham (Patna) and was a core member of Sahrdaya Foundation (Chennai) She has Performed solo; duet and Group for more than 20 stages in Madhya Pradesh; Uttar Pradesh; Punjab; Bihar; West Bengal; Chennai
Completed Sangeet Prabhakar in Bharatanatyam To be noted few performances are: Presented M.P state at National Level Youth Festival; Performed at Ghat Sandhya, Varanasi; Performed at ICCR Kolkata for Arani; Performed at BHU Youth festival, Spandan; Performed at Madras University ; Performed for Bharat sanskriti utasav (2021), Barddhaman & Kolkata; Performed for Sanskar Bharati at Patna Vidhan sabha and Patna high court; Choreographed & Performed Dance drama for NSD, Patna; Performed for Tamil department at Viswabharati University, Santiniketan; Performed for Indian classical dance and music festival at Durgapur; Performed for Barddhaman Utsav (2022) ; Performed for ICCR in Nepal embassy at Raxaul; Performed for Chandragupt Maurya festival and Champaran festival at Bihar; Performed at Sangeet Natak academy, Delhi. Recently she performed in ANG Natyamahotsav. She has wide Work experience in Performing arts: Mentor for Workshop (organized by Bharatatiya Nitya Kala Mandir, Bihar) ; Presented paper on Sangita darpana (for National Seminar on “Music and Dance treatises” organised by University of Madras) ;Two Program Reviews (Shri. Parthasarathy Gana Sabha, Chennai) Mentor for Workshop(Organized by National School of drama).
