Dr. Ramesh P is a highly accomplished professional in the field of Electrical Engineering. He obtained his UG degree in Electrical Engineering in 2006 from The Institution of Engineers (India) in Kolkata, India. Following this, he pursued his M.Tech degree in Applied Electronics in 2008 from Dr. MGR University in Chennai, India. Dr. Ramesh P further excelled in academia and completed his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering in 2018 from Anna University in Chennai, India.

With an impressive academic background, Dr. Ramesh P possesses over 22 years of teaching experience and nearly a decade of research experience. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor and serves as the Head of the Centre of Excellence – Intelligent Energy Systems in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at CMR Institute of Technology, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Dr. Ramesh P's professional interests encompass various areas, including Electrical Machines, Electric Vehicles, and the application of Power Electronics to Renewable Energy resources. He received the Best Paper Award at the 3rd International Conference on Electronics and Communications and Aerospace (ICEA) in 2019, organized by IEEE and held at RVS Technical Campus in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. This award was granted among 200 papers, showcasing Dr. Ramesh P's exceptional research contributions.

Additionally, he has been recognized for his outstanding teaching abilities, receiving the Best Teacher Award for consistently producing excellent results in various subjects, such as Electrical Machines-I, Electrical Machines-II, Power Electronics, and Design of Electrical Machines.

Moreover, Dr. Ramesh P was honored with the Best Head of Department (HOD) Award during his tenure at Adhiparasakthi College of Engineering in Vellore, India. This accolade signifies his exemplary leadership and management skills.

Furthermore, he was presented with the Startup Registration Appreciation Award from CMR Institute of Technology in Bangalore, India, in 2022. This award recognizes his dedication and contributions in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within the institution.
