I am an Electronic Engineer, Mathematician, and Antenna Designer with a strong background in RF & Microwave. As a professional Antenna and RF design engineer and researcher, I specialize in designing and analyzing Antenna and RF circuits.

Throughout my career, I have completed various projects, including the design of Microstrip Patch Antennas, Reconfigurable Antennas, and Slot Antennas for RF Energy Harvesting, among others. Additionally, I have extensive experience in designing and researching metamaterials based reconfigurable antennas for Radar applications, as well as MIMO Antennas for 5G applications.

Apart from my Antenna Design expertise, I also have experience in MMIC design, microwave passive and active component designing, and expertise in various professional tools for antenna and electromagnetic structure design and analysis such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, Keysight ADS, AWR, and MATLAB. I have also worked on PCB designing with Altium Designer, and I am experienced in antenna and RF circuit testing and measurements.

  • Teacher Assistant (Jan, 2023–Present) at NUST Islamabad
    I am currently working as a Teacher Assistant and my job responsibilities include:

    Assisting the Teacher: My primary role is to support the teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom. This includes helping to prepare lesson materials, grading assignments, and answering questions from students.

    Providing One-on-One Support: I work closely with students who need extra help or have special needs, providing them with one-on-one support and guidance. This can involve explaining concepts more clearly, helping with homework, or working on specific skills.

    Classroom Management: I also assist with classroom management, helping to ensure that students are engaged and focused during lessons, and maintaining discipline when necessary. This includes monitoring student behavior, taking attendance, and enforcing school policies.

    Communication with Parents: I may also be responsible for communicating with parents, providing updates on their child's progress, and addressing any concerns they may have.

    Planning and Preparation: Depending on the school, I may also be involved in planning and preparation for lessons, including developing lesson plans, creating activities, and gathering resources.

  • Research Assistant (Aug, 2022–Present) at National University of Science and Technology Islamabad
    I have recently been hired as a Research Assistant in RF and Microwave at NUST, starting from November 2022. In this position, I will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

    Conducting Research: My primary responsibility will be to conduct research in the field of RF and Microwave. This will involve designing, testing, and analyzing various circuits and systems, as well as collecting and analyzing data.

    Assisting with Experiments: I will also be responsible for assisting with experiments, including setting up equipment, monitoring experiments, and collecting data. I will need to make sure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

    Data Analysis: Once I've collected data, I will be responsible for analyzing it using statistical analysis techniques and software tools. I will need to be able to present my findings in reports and presentations.

    Literature Review: I will also need to keep up to date with the latest research in the field of RF and Microwave, by conducting literature reviews and attending conferences and seminars.

    Collaborating with Other Researchers: I will be expected to collaborate with other researchers, both within and outside of the institution, in order to share knowledge and expertise and to develop new ideas.

    Writing Research Proposals: Another important aspect of my job will be to write research proposals, in order to secure funding for our research.

    Teaching and Mentoring: I may also be asked to assist with teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in the field of RF and Microwave. Additionally, I may have the opportunity to mentor students who are conducting research in our field.

    Participating in Administrative Tasks: Finally, I may be required to participate in administrative tasks, such as organizing conferences or seminars, or assisting with the management of the laboratory.
