I'm Stacey, an enthusiastic educator with 14 years of teaching experience, including 12 years in Dubai. My expertise lies in guiding students through the intricacies of English Language and Literature, covering Key Stage 3/MYP, GCSE/IGCSE, and IBDP curricula. I also offer individual and group lessons for English Language Learners in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

My lessons are vibrant, interactive, and enjoyable. We closely examine reading and language, using specific words to explain their effects on the reader. I teach a paragraph model that helps students improve their writing organization, making it clearer and more effective. For English Language Learners, I incorporate a variety of activities to enhance speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, ensuring a well-rounded command of the language.

As an IBDP and IGCSE English Examiner, Team Leader, and Workshop Leader, I provide valuable insights into examination marking criteria. Whether navigating external assessments or completing coursework, I offer dedicated support to help students decode assignment requirements, refine research skills, and craft compelling responses. I prioritise building confidence and cultivating positive relationships.

In a recent success story, in May 2024, 5 out of 8 students I worked with achieved a Level 6 and above at IBDP. In November 2023, two of my IBDP students achieved Levels 6 and 7 in their final exams.In addition, other students moved from Level 4 to Level 6 on the IBDP Literature course in just a few months. These achievements reflect the transformative journey of personalised teaching tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
