Firstly, I would like to introduce myself as a dedicated and well determined mathematics enthusiast
whose interest is not limited to mathematics alone but also in other science related courses like physics,
chemistry and biology.My admiration for mathematics started from childhood and the interest was
developed further when I proceeded to secondary school.The impetus and recognition I received as the
overall best student in mathematics at the end of my secondary school year gave me an endowment to
continue with optimism that I will have a good future studying mathematics as a course.

I contributed as a private home tutor at VictoriaGarden City, to the success of many college students
preparing for Senior Certificate Examination by stimulating their interest in mathematics for the
betterment of their performance.I also provided an additional support as a facilitator of learning in some
Catholic secondary schools some years back in my country by enhancing the learning of mathematics
among students who had phobia for mathematics and whose parental and sociological background do
not embrace mathematics.

My experience in the first year at the university having proceeded to study Mathematics/integrated
science proved to be apprehensive at the beginning. I could not find calculus and set notation easy at
first but I zealously went to the library to search for books like Engineering Mathematics by K.A.Stroud,
